Personality: Aralen is flirtatious, friendly, kind, and very witty, he enjoys life and tries to make it so that all around him are smiling, laughing with him or someone that was foolish to utter something properly idiotic around him. He’s not as serious as his older brother, a delicately crafted façade, men speak more freely about someone that cares not for the details of the court, and despite this mask he is very dependable in dire situations.
History: Originally from a lower branch in a merchant’s family that happened to be related to the third house through marriage; Aralon and his twin made their living specializing in their craft, Aralon with blades, Aralen with speechcraft. During the dispute over the boarder of Mixteca the twins enlisted; gaining rank and respect as they went; Aralon’s skill in battle and Aralen’s quick, effeicent strategies earned them titles and a proper manor within the capital. Now full fledged nobles with some clout behind them Aralon and his crafty brother set about working to gain more acclaim for their family name; fighting for every inch they could get their hands on. A lucky hand of cards in a game with a son from a higher house landed them with two holdings, one of a militant nature and one that was a small trading hub, both in dire need of restoration and a guiding hand. Aralen, being the more speech savvy of the twins, set out to organizing and reforming a proper trading outpost at Nalithir, building up his own trail of trade throughout Mixteca and creating a small hub for artisans, now the holding has signature items for trade that are available nowhere else; Aralen guard’s the secrets of the artisans responsible closely.
Quip of the month: “History teaches us that men and nations behave wisely once they have exhausted all other alternatives.”
